Project Selection

Summary of Project Selection Criteria

Yggdrasil strategically assesses project viability based on a set of factors determined by the Board of Trustees.  Factors include a property’s farm history and practices, soil, ecological and cultural values, location in relation to other farm clusters, business and market viability as well as fundraising potential. The evaluation and scoring of these factors provide Yggdrasil with sound data and information to properly prioritize new projects and designate limited staff time.
